A traditional Danish lunch in the 19th century, the smørrebrød is perfectly adapted to the demands of our everyday urban life by offering a food which is fast, but very high-quality! The smørrebrød is an "all-in-one" product which guarantees a complete and wholesome meal. In Danish, smør means butter and brød, bread. A traditional smørrebrød is always comprised of a slice of bread and butter or cheese and a topping.
